RW-Idrofoglia Racing GP strengthens ties with Idrofoglia as new title sponsor

RW Racing GP has intensified its partnership with Idrofoglia for the 2024 season. In 2023, the Italian company entered the MotoGP World Championship and partnered with the Dutch Moto2 team. This partnership has since grown and led to Idrofoglia becoming title sponsor of the renamed RW-Idrofoglia Racing GP team.

Having already seen the potential of both the team and its young riders Barry Baltus and Zonta van den Goorbergh in 2023, the 2024 season started immediately with success. In the first Grand Prix of 2024, at the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar, Barry Baltus was on the podium as he finished second just 0.055 seconds from the winner. Van den Goorbergh also showed in the first two Grands Prix of 2024 that he can compete with the fastest riders in Moto2.

Idrofoglia is a leading company in the field of water pumps, electric pump units and fire prevention systems. Thanks to this partnership with RW Racing GP, the Italian company has entered the MotoGP World Championship with a global audience. This intensified partnership will mark another step towards the top of the Moto2 championship for both parties.
