NTS RW Racing GP and Hans Spaan part ways
After nearly nine seasons of collaboration, NTS RW Racing GP and Hans Spaan say goodbye to each other. A difference in vision for the future is the reason for this.
“We value Hans very much and therefore think it is a shame that we could not come together in terms of our vision for the future. If the ideas vary widely, it is better – with regret – to decide not to continue together”, says NTS RW Racing GP team manager Jarno Janssen.
The former Grand Prix rider and RW Racing GP have been working together successfully since the team’s inception in 2011. Nine podium places and three victories (2x Luis Salom, 1x Livio Loi) were achieved under the technical supervision of Spaan. Earlier, the now 60-year-old Spaan was involved in the world titles of Haruchika Aoki in 1995 and 1996. As a rider, Spaan achieved nine GP wins in the 125cc class, including the Dutch TT in Assen in 1989.
